Uzaira joined Thomas & Co in June 2026 and advises individuals and businesses on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, insurance, corporate structuring and advising on matrimonial law. She enjoys getting to know her clients and providing practical, straightforward advice that helps them achieve the best possible outcome.

As a qualified English solicitor, Uzaira has extensive experience in advising on complex cross-border energy, infrastructure and project finance transactions as well as refinancings, and corporate restructuring across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at a leading international law firm, advising financial institutions and corporate clients on high value transactions.

Alongside her legal career, Uzaira has gained first hand business experience through her work with Europe’s first plant powered pharmacy, where she advised on compliance, legal documentation, strategy, risk management and GDPR compliance. This commercial perspective helps her understand the day-to-day challenges businesses face and is able to provide advice that is both practical and effective.

Outside of the office, Uzaira has a keen interest in art and antique carpets, and enjoys keeping active as a qualified fitness instructor. She also loves spending time with her family, their dog and enjoys a good game of bridge.
