Martin has extensive experience in the world of charities, both as a lawyer and through personal engagement. He has served as Trustee of 14 charities, 10 times as Chair, and 4 times as Founder. He oversaw the governance of a women's rights charity and of the UK's leading poetry charity. He has advised charities on domestic and overseas operations. He is expert in dealing with the Charity Commission.
